Mr. Charles E. Schwark Sr., 76 of 1221 E. St. Rd. 4 LaPorte, Indiana died Sunday November 28, 2004 at 7:40p.m. At LaPorte Hospital. He was born April 19, 1928 in Berrien Co., MI to Harold and Nellie Boles Schwark who has proceeded. Also preceded in death was a brother, Mr. Robert Schwark. Mr. Schwark moved to LaPorte in 1968 from Hudson Lake, Indiana. On July 2, 1968 in LaPorte, Indiana he was married to Lotus Evenburg, who survives. Mr. Schwark was a veteran of the US Army and Merchant Marines during WWII, Rolling Prairie VFW Post #9423, Labors and Hod Carriers Union Local 81 of Valparaiso, IN. He enjoyed woodworking, carving and working outdoors. Surviving is a daughter, Mrs. Sherrie Brugh of Florida, a son Mr. Charles Schwark, Jr. of LaPorte, IN, four step-daughters, Mrs. Nancy Fritch of Florida, Mrs. Judy Kirk of Kingsbury, IN, Mrs. Deanna Sharp of Niles, MI, Mrs. Gloria Waak of LaPorte, IN, Two step-son?s, Mr. William R. Evenburg of LaPorte, IN, Mr. Robert D. Evenburg of LaPorte, IN, a sister, Mrs. Bonnie Plough of Zionsville, IN, Two brother?s, Mr. Ronald Schwark of Las Vegas, NV, Mr. John Schwark of Battle Creek, MI. Mr. Schwark has 13 grandchildren, and 7 great-grandchildren. The Funeral will be on Wednesday December 1, 2004 at 2:00p.m. At Haverstock Funeral Home with Rev. Mark Harris officiating. Friends may call on Tuesday November 30, 2004 from 4:00p.m. To 8:00p.m. And from 9:00a.m. Wednesday until time of service. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery, Mill Creek, IN. A graveside Military service will be conducted by the Rolling Prairie VFW Post #9423. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, Indiana Affiliate, Inc. Region 2, 2410 N.
