Mr. Charles Ivan Sams, age 48, of La Porte, IN, died Monday, June 26, 2006, at Decedent's Residence in La Porte, IN. He was born August 21, 1957 in Terre Haute, IN, to William Sams and Patricia Trueblood Sams. Preceded in death is his father, William Sams. Mr. Sams lived all of his life in the LaPorte, Indiana area. Mr. Sams was employed by IMPS, as a Power Washer. He Liked doing cross-stitching, smoking and grilling food. Surviving is his mother, Mrs. Patricia Sams of LaPorte, IN, Two Brothers, Mr. Vern D. Veronica Sams of La Porte, IN, Mr. Terry Nancy Sams of La Porte, IN, Arrangements are being handled by Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc., 602 Maple Ave., LaPorte, IN, where the family will receive friends from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM Thursday, June 29, 2006. A Graveside Funeral service will be at Pine Lake Cemetery at 11:00 AM Thursday, June 29, 2006 , with Pastor Roger Ash officiating.
