Mr. Charles F. Richardson, 85, of 819 Division Street, LaPorte, Indiana passed away Friday August 27, 2004 at LaPorte Hospital. He had lived in the LaPorte area most of his life. Born May 10, 1919 in Michigan City, Indiana to Frank and Naomi Smith Richardson, who preceded. On August 12, 1944 to Pauline Warstler, who survives? Mr. Richardson worked for Teeter Tool & Die as an engineer. He also he had worked for Mayer Tool & Die, Diamond Tool & Die, Conrad Tool & Die. He owned Richardson Realty & Rental for many years. Mr. Richardson was member of Church of the Brethren of LaPorte, National Association of Wood Carvers, Duneland Wood Carvers of Chesterton and Scout Master for Boy Scouts of America Troop # 82. Surviving with his wife Pauline are one son; Gary Sarah Richardson of Chesterton, Indiana, one daughter; Gail Tim Mishler of LaPorte, Indiana, one brother Jerry Richardson of LaPorte, Indiana, nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Preceding him death was his parents and one brother. A funeral service will be held 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Haverstock Funeral Home with Rev. Cindy Barnum-Steggerda officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home Monday from 5-8 p.m. and Tuesday 9:00 a.m. until time of service. Burial will be in the Heckman Cemetery, LaPorte, Indiana and a graveside service will be held by the American Legion & V.F.W. of LaPorte.
