Charles (Chuck) W. Morris, a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, passed away on June 18, 2024 at Franciscan Hospital in Michigan City, IN. He was born on December 31, 1946, in Valparaiso, IN.

Throughout his life, Chuck exemplified the meaning of selflessness and compassion. As a retired Journeyman Machinist and proud Vietnam veteran (Army), he served his community and country with honor and integrity. Chuck was known for his intelligence, wit, and sense of humor.

Chuck had a love for various hobbies and interests that brought him immense joy. He loved the outdoors; some of his happiest stories revolved around fishing, hunting, and foraging mushrooms, but Chuck was just as content at home sharing his love for books, cooking in the kitchen, and tending to his yard and garden. His passion for these activities was only rivaled by his love for his family 

Surrounded by loved ones who meant the world to him, Chuck cherished his time spent with his wife of 55 years, Linda; his son Charles (Julie) Morris; daughter Tricia Roberts; grandchildren Nathan Morris, Samantha Morris, Seana Roberts, Michael Roberts; Joshua Roberts; and great-grandchildren Maverick and Jayden. In his heart forever will be Clarence & Virginia (parents), Shelly Morris (daughter), Casimir Morris (brother), who have all preceded him in death.

Chuck leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and warmth that will continue to inspire all who were fortunate enough to know him. May his memory live on through the stories shared by those whose lives he touched.

Rest in peace, Chuck. Your presence will be deeply missed but your spirit will endure in the hearts of those who loved you dearly.

 Arrangements are being entrusted to Haverstock Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 602 Maple Ave., LaPorte, IN. The family will host a gathering at a later time. Cremation has taken place
