Charles Mccoy

Mr. Charles W. McCoy, 72, of Hamlet, Indiana, died Sunday July 4, 2010 at Hospice House in South Bend, IN. He was born June 14, 1938 in Coeburn, Virginia, the son of Ralph C. McCoy and Mario Farmer McCoy. Charles worked as a Truck Driver and retired in 2005. He had worked for American Home Foods for many years. On September 20, 1980, in Hamlet, IN, he married Cindy Morrison McCoy who survives. He is also survived by his 3 sons - Steven Nina McCoy of Grovertown, IN, Ronald Mary L. McCoy of Rochester, IN, Clayton R. McCoy of Hamlet, IN; 3 daughters - Janice Skiver of Buchanan, MI, Peggy Tony Zarantonello of La Porte, IN, Amy Adrian Miramontes of Ft. Meyers, FL; 7 grandchildren; brother - Herb McCoy of Dungannon, VA; 3 sisters - Aline Larry Smith of Sea Grove NC, Billie Moody of Gray, GA, Connie Jean McCoy of Coeburn, VA; and his ex-wife Judith A. Leslie of Akron, IN. Charles was preceded in death by his parents. Arrangements are being handled by Haverstock Funeral Home, 602 Maple Ave., La Porte, Ind. Private family services have been held.
