Mr. Charles Maclean Lashua, age 91, of Rolling Prairie, IN, died Monday, November 28, 2005, at LaPorte Hospital in La Porte, IN. He was born February 23, 1914 in Calvery Alberta, Canada, to George Lashua and Marie Clark Lashua, who has preceded. Also preceded in death are two sons, Mr. Jerry Wayne Lashua, Mr. George Leslie Lashua, a brother, Mr. Mylo Lashua, a sister, Mrs. Hazel Garling. On December 10, 1936 in North Manchester, Indiana, he was married to Opal Gump, who preceded, June 1, 1999. Mr. Lashua was employed by Penn Central Railroad, and Amtrac, and was a member of Hanna United Methodist Church. He was also a member of the Hanna Lion's Club, and the Railroad Union, he loved playing musical instruments. He is also survived by his One Son, Mr. Richard Lynn Kay Lashua of Kingsford Heights, IN, One Daughter, Mrs. Joyce Joe Dickson of Rolling Prairie, IN, Mr. Lashua has Nine grandchildren, Twenty great-grandchildren, Six great-great grandchildren. Arrangements are being handled by Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc., 602 Maple Ave., LaPorte, Ind., where the family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM and 6:00 to 8:00 PM Thursday, December 1, 2005 at Haverstock Funeral Home. Also visitation from 9:00 AM until time of service, at the Hanna United Methodist Church, Friday, December 2, 2005. Funeral service will be at Hanna United Methodist Church at 11:00 AM Friday, December 2, 2005 , with Rev. Kent Dale officiating. Interment will be at Hanna Cemetery in Hanna, Ind.
