Catherine Zollinger May 11, 1913-June 15, 2009 Mrs. Catherine "Nane" Zollinger, 96, of Kingsford Heights, Indiana, died Monday June 15, 2009 at her daughter's home in Kingsford Heights, IN. She was born May 11, 1913 in Warsaw, Indiana, the daughter of Harry Herbert Hartman and Etta F. Huffman Hartman. She lived in the LaPorte area, since 1945, coming from Elkhart, IN. Catherine was a homemaker and she was a member of the Kingsford Union Volunteer Fire Dept. Auxiliary and the Bunco Club. On June 28, 1933, in Webster, IN, she married William Zollinger who preceded her in death January 13, 1971. She is survived by her three daughters, Catherine Jarrett of Rolling Prairie, IN, Dorothy Waine Dayton of Kingsford Heights, IN, Mary Ron Rowland of Kingsford Heights, IN; eight grandchildren, Christine Jarrett, Charles Jarrett, Jr., William Jarrett, Bob Julaine Jarrett, Jerry Darlene Jarrett, Tina Jim Herbst, Natalie Lewis Mahoney, Diana Fred Fuller; fourteen great-grandchildren, Janeen Randy Messer, Justin Jarrett, Jordan Jarrett, Grace Jarrett, Griffin Jarrett, Kyle Jarrett, Kalyn Jarrett, Jeremy Karley Herbst, Alison Herbst, Julie Herbst, Erin Mahoney, Patricia Fuller, Christopher Fuller, Hannah Fuller; five great-great grandchildren, Jagger Comstock, Desney Comstock, Zayda Messer, Wyatt Messer, Madilynn Herbst and special friends, Charles & Evelyn Jarrett. Catherine was preceded in death by her parents, husband, three sisters, Gertrude, Betty and Beatrice, two brothers, Harold and Dale. Arrangements are being handled by Haverstock Funeral Home, 602 Maple Ave., LaPorte, Ind. where the family will receive friends Thursday, June 18, 2009 from 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm & Friday, June 19, 2009 from 10:00 am - 11:00 am. Services will be held at Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc. on Friday June 19, 2009 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Jason Safirt officiating.
