Carrie Georgia Blank April 16, 1915-February 12, 2015 Carrie Georgia Blank, 99, of LaPorte, Indiana, died Thursday February 12, 2015 at Golden Living Center Fountainview in LaPorte, IN. She was born April 16, 1915 in Center Twp., Indiana, the daughter of Alford Blank and Louise (Koch) Blank. Carrie had worked as a seamtress for Chicago Garment Mfg. during the war. She is survived by her three caring friends, Phyllis Clayton Mould of South Bend, IN., Barbara Clayton Tarnow of Canon City, CO, and Joy Clayton Stankus of Elkhart, IN. Carrie was preceded in death by her parents. Arrangements are being entrusted to Haverstock Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 602 Maple Ave., La Porte, IN. There will be no visitation. A Graveside Service will be held at Pine Lake Cemetery, Monday February 16, 2015 at 1:00 pm with Rev. Jonathan Bonomo officiating. Interment will follow at the Pine Lake Cemetery, LaPorte, Indiana.
