Carolyn Langston, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, passed away peacefully at her residence on June 18, 2024. She was surrounded by her loving family as she concluded her courageous battle with cancer.
Born on June 25 1965, in Jackson, KY to her devoted mother Louella and her late father Henry Stacy; Carolyn grew up alongside her brothers Paul and John Stacy and her sister Charlotte Watson. Family meant everything to Carolyn, and she was always known for her unwavering love and dedication towards them.
Carolyn's life was truly defined by spending time with her family. She met the love of her life, Gene Langston, and together they raised their two sons Bryan and Ryan with immense love and care. Her proudest accomplishments revolved around being a devoted wife and a nurturing mother who cherished every moment spent with her family. The arrival of her grandchildren Kayla, Zayden, Wyatt, and Penelope brought an additional sparkle to Carolyn's eyes as she adored each of them dearly.
Despite facing health challenges that led to disability in her later years, Carolyn remained a fighter until the very end. She found solace in watching the Cubs (diehard fan) and spending time with her dear mother Louella and enjoyed tending to her flowers. Additionally, Carolyn shared a special bond with her sister Charlotte and treasured their times together hitting the casinos for some fun.
In addition to her immediate family members, Carolyn is survived by her brother John Stacy, sister-in-law Teresa Stacy, along with numerous other relatives and friends who will deeply miss her warm presence in their lives.
Carolyn Langston will be remembered for her strength, resilience, and the love she shared so generously with those around her. May she rest in peace knowing that she was truly loved and will forever hold a special place in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing her.
