Carolyn S. Humes December 8, 1946-April 15, 2015 Carolyn S. Humes, 68, of La Porte, Indiana, died Wednesday April 15, 2015 at Miller's Health and Rehab in LaPorte, IN. She was born December 8, 1946 in Monroe, Michigan, the daughter of William D Fults and Pauline (Emmett) Fults. Carolyn enjoyed reading, working on the computer and gardening. On December 6, 1966, in Detroit, MI, she married Albert Humes who preceded her in death August 28, 2014. She is survived by her four sons, Mark Humes, Kirk (Jennifer) Humes, Darin (Dawn) Humes, Dennis (Kari) Humes and one daughter, Candy Searing, all of La Porte, IN, ten grandchildren, Jasen, Jennie, Aaron, Christina, Zachary, Haley, Jacob, Erica, Cameron, and Bentley; seven great-grandchildren, Jamie, Joaquin, Hayden, Brianna, Emerson, Bailey, and Liam, and a brother, William Carl Rusch. Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents, husband and a grandaughter, Alisyn McIntosh. Arrangements are being entrusted to Haverstock Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 602 Maple Ave., La Porte, IN where the family will receive friends Thursday, April 23, 2015, from 3:00 pm - 4:00 pm. A Memorial Service will be held at Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc., Thursday April 23, 2015 at 4:00 pm with Rev. Andy Pereza officiating.
