Carney Butler

Mr. Carney Dale Butler, age 71, of Rolling Prairie, Ind., died 10:49 AM Monday, February 25, 2008, at his home in Rolling Prairie, Ind. He was born October 19, 1936 in LaPorte, Ind. to the late Dale Butler and the late Amanda Butts Butler. Mr. Butler was employed by Carpenters Union Local #1485. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and loved his family very much. He enjoyed fishing and hunting, riding his Harley and enjoyed bowling. On December 15, 1936 in LaPorte Co. Ind. he married Donna Newland who survives. He is also survived by his Three Daughters, Mrs. Sherry Younggreen of LaCrosse, Ind., Mrs. Patti Timothy Swanson of La Porte, Ind., Mrs. Phyllis John Benson of Rolling Prairie, Ind.; Two Sons, Mr. Dan Butler of Rolling Prairie, Ind., Mr. Carney Dale Sandra Butler, Jr. of La Porte, Ind.; One Sister, Mrs. Georgia Galloway of La Porte, Ind.; Two Brothers, Mr. Harold Marty Butler of Granger, Ind., Mr. Sandy Butler of Michigan; Sixteen grandchildren; and Twelve great-grandchildren. Arrangements are being handled by Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc., 602 Maple Ave., LaPorte, Ind., where the family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM Thursday, February 28, 2008. Funeral service will be at Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc. at 11:00 AM Friday, February 29, 2008, Rev. Jim Eiler officiating. Cremation will follow.
