Carl Turner September 7, 1955-June 1, 2016 Carl Turner, age 60 of LaPorte, IN passed away on Wednesday, June 1, 2016 at LaPorte Hospital. Carl was born September 7, 1955 in Canoe, KY, the son of Roscoe Turner and Mima Stamper Turner. He was a 1972 graduate of LaPorte High School. Carl enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Carl is survived by brothers, Darial (late Sun Ye) Turner, Dale Turner and Clay (Dawn) Turner all of LaPorte; sisters, Jean (John) Eddy of Kingsford Heights, Mary (John) Hutchinson of LaPorte and Calla (Eric) Arnholtz of Union Mills, IN; sister in law, Joy Turner of LaPorte; brother in law, David Lemley of Hudson Lake, IN; many nieces, nephews and cousins. Preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Paul Turner and Rocky Turner; sister, Vickie Lemley; niece, Stephanie Turner and great nephew, John Roscoe Foreman. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, June 7, 2016 at 11:00 AM at Haverstock Funeral Home 602 Maple Avenue LaPorte, IN with Pastor Ernie Melton officiating. Interment to follow at Pine Lake Cemetery, LaPorte, IN. Friends are invited to meet with the family on Tuesday morning from 9:00 AM until time of service at the funeral home.
