Mr. Brian Szuflita, age 29, of La Porte, Ind., died Friday, July 25, 2008, in South Bend, Indiana He was born on December 25, 1978 in Chicago, Ill. to late Anthony Szuflita and Ruby "Darlene" Roop Szuflita. He had lived in the LaPorte, Ind. area, most of his life, coming from Lansing, Ill. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in LaPorte, Ind. He is survived by his ; Mother, Ruby "Darlene" Szuflita of LaPorte, Ind.; One Daughter, Brianna Kay Szuflita of La Porte, Ind.; One Son, Logan Tyler Szuflita of La Porte, Ind.; One Brother, Christopher Lisa Szuflita of La Porte, Ind. He is preceded in death by his Father and One Aunt; Deloris Hill Arrangements are being handled by Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc., 602 Maple Ave., LaPorte, Ind., where the family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Wednesday, July 30, 2008 and from 9:00 AM to 10:45 AM Thursday, July 31, 2008. Funeral service will be at Sacred Heart Catholic Church LaPorte, Ind. at 11:00 AM Thursday, July 31, 2008, with Rev. Ian Williams, officiating. Interment will be at Swan Lake Memorial Garden in Michigan City, Ind.
