December 8, 1968-August 17, 2024
Brian S. Kabowski, 55, of La Porte, Indiana, passed away Saturday August 17, 2024 at Brickyard Healthcare in La Porte, Indiana .
He was born December 8, 1968 in La Porte,Indiana, the son of and Jack Marsh, and Mary Logan .
Brian, who grew up in La Porte, Indiana, graduated from the University of Phoenix with a Bachelors degree in computer science and technology. Brian was a very versatile man. He loved fishing and being on the water on a peaceful morning especially when it was quietly raining. He was a number one fan of Notre Dame, Chicago Bears, and the Chicago cubbies. Brian was the best pool player and dart thrower one could fathom, winning nearly all the league championships that he participated in. Music was extremely important to him, as well as being an avid reader and an even more proficient and talented writer. He penned an entire children's series about a little mouse he called Harold, that he was in the process of submitting to publishers. Brian was fascinated with Billy the Kid and the old west, he also loved Stephen King's writings as well. He loved animals, particulary dogs. He stood up for the underdog and would help people in need, when it was feasible. Brian was a computer whiz and he made fixing, even the most complex issues, look simple. He loved his mama and children, and longed for a time when family, happiness, and togetherness came first. Brian was a very tough guy on the surface but underneath all the toughness, he was a caring, sensitive, and sentimental soul. He will be missed dearly by his children, friends, and those who loved him and will cherish many sweet memories of him.
He is survived by his six children, Brian C. Kabowski of La Porte, IN, Brentlyn Jones of La Porte, IN, Brandon Jones of La Porte, IN, Emily Anspaugh of Walkerton, IN, Christopher Kabowski of La Porte, IN, and Nicholai Kabowski of Johnson City, TN; two siblings, David (Cindy) Walker of La Porte, IN, Tracy (Brian) Palen of La Porte, IN; three grandchildren, Julian, Niklaus, London, and many aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends from all around.
