Brian B. Emerick April 12, 1973-April 24, 2014 Mr. Brian B. Emerick, 41, of Union Mills, Indiana, died Thursday April 24, 2014 at his home. He was born April 12, 1973 in Honolulu, Hawaii, the son of Bradley A. Emerick and Rosemarie (Wawok) Emerick. Brian worked has a press-operator at American Rubber and was a part-owner of the Silver Horseshoe in Wanatah, Indiana and an avid Cubs Fan. Brian was a loving father, husband, son and brother.. On October 12, 1996, in Wanatah, IN, he married Peggy (Glick) Emerick who survives. He is also survived by his son, Bryce Emerick of Union Mills, IN; daughter, Bailey Emerick of Union Mills, IN; mother, Rosemarie Emerick of LaPorte, IN; grandparents, Harold and Rilla Emerick of Hanna, IN; grandmother, Helen Macher of La Porte, IN; brother, Kenneth (Carol) Emerick of Fort Smith, AR; brother-in-law, Erik (Denise) Barber of Valparaiso, IN; and sister-in-law, Patsy (Robert) Chavas of Wanatah, IN. Brian was preceded in death by his father. Arrangements are being entrusted to Haverstock Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 602 Maple Ave., LaPorte, IN where the family will receive friends Monday, April 28, 2014 from 10:00 am - 1:00 pm. A life celebration will be held at Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc., Monday April 28, 2014 at 1:00 pm with Rev. Dennis Meyer officiating. Cremation will take place. A luncheon will be held at the Silver Horseshoe in Wanatah, Indiana at 3:00 pm. Memorial contributions may be made to The Family of Brian B. Emerick.
