Brenda Kay Scofield, 68, of New Carlisle, Indiana, passed away Friday December 17, 2021 at her home in New Carlisle, IN.

She was born January 19, 1953 in Pulaski, Tennessee, the daughter of Joe Thomas Pierce and Opal (Tankersley) Pierce.

Brenda enjoyed many things in her life. She loved to garden, was quite a bowler, loved karaoke and singing around the house. She also enjoyed traveling back home to Tennessee to visit family and friends. But Brenda's true passion was her love for her family and her grandchildren.

She is survived by her son, Chris (Monique) Scofield of New Carlisle, IN; brothers Terry (Stephanie) Pierce, Joe (Teresa) Pierce; two sisters, Wanda Sue (Pete) Elrod, Peggy (William) Lukac; four grandchildren, Dimitri, Tyler, Parker, Aryana.

Brenda was preceded in death by her former husband, parents, and brother, Roger Pierce.

Arrangements are being entrusted to Haverstock Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 602 Maple Ave., La Porte, IN. A Celebration of Brenda’s life will take place on Monday, January 3 from Noon until 2 PM at the funeral home. A service will be at 2 PM. Cremation has taken place.
