Bobby Woods

Mr. Bobby R. Woods, age 69, of Hamlet, Ind., died Wednesday, January 23, 2008, at his home in Hamlet, Ind. He was born June 6, 1938 in Vicco, Kentucky to the late Melvin Woods and the late Ada Tessner Woods. He has lived most of his life in the LaPorte area. Mr. Woods was an Independent contractor and Truck Driver. On June 27, 1959 in Knox, Indiana he married Kathleen "Midge" Fee who survives. He is also survived by Three Daughters, Bobbie Harold Farmer of Union Mills, Ind., Jackie Frank Draper of Olivehurst, Calif., Kineta Woods of Kingsford Heights, Ind.; Six grandchildren, Angela Thatcher, Ashley Rosales, Elizabeth Farmer, Dakota Farmer, Travis Draper, Cody Cappis; Four great-grandchildren, Two Sisters, Alma Owens of Smiths Grove, Ky., Ardyce Smith of Hamlet, Ind.; One Brother, Melvin Ray Woods of Vicco, Ky. He is preceded in death by his Parents, and One Sister, Dorothy Lawson. Arrangements are being handled by Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc., 602 Maple Ave., LaPorte, Ind., where the family will receive friends from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM Friday, January 25, 2008 and from 11:00 AM Saturday until time of the Service. Funeral service will be at Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc. at 1:00 PM Saturday, January 26, 2008, Rev. Bill Smith officiating. Interment will be at Tracy Cemetery in Hamlet, Ind.
