Billy Hux

Mr. Billy T. Hux, 81, of P.O. Box 0382, Grayton Road Kingsford Heights, Indiana died Wednesday, March 9, 2005 at 5:14 AM in LaPorte Hospital. Mr. Hux was born December 7, 1923 in Sanford, IN, to Raymond and Vivian McClary Hux, who has proceeded. Mr. Hux has been a resident of the area since 1948. On March 26, 1947 in Dugger, Indiana he married Rosemary Hux, who proceeded, June 2, 1981. Also preceded is a brother, Robert Hux. Mr. Hux was a member of Local #1043 of Merrillville, IN as a Millwright, for 30 years, and retired in 1986. He was a US Navy Veteran during WWII, Masonic Lodge #222 of Union Mills, Life member of Zook Farrington American Legion Post #434 of Kingsford Heights, IN., Scottish Rite, Eastern Star of Union Mills. Surviving is a daughter, Mrs. Kathleen David Harris of Lafayette, IN, a son, Mr. Darrell Linda Hux of Hamlet, IN, a daughter, Mrs. Susan Thomas Knoll of Walkerton, IN, a daughter, Mrs. Debra Thomas Fisher of LaPorte, IN, twin-brother, Mr. Joseph Lois Hux of Sullivan, IN. Mr. Hux has 4 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren. The Funeral will be Saturday, March 12, 2005 at 1:00 PM at Haverstock Funeral Home, with Rev. Carl Galloway officiating. Friends may call on Friday, March 11, 2005 from 2:00 to 4:00 and from 6:00 to 8:00 PM, and from 10:00 AM Saturday March 12, 2005 at Haverstock Funeral Home, until time of service. Burial will be in Tracy Cemetery, Tracy, IN. A Military Service will be conducted by the Zook Farrington American Legion Post #434 of Kingsford Heights on Friday March 11, 2005 at 7:00 PM at Haverstock Funeral Home.
