Beverly J. Tarnow July 16, 1950-January 4, 2016 Mrs. Beverly J. Tarnow, 65, of La Porte, Indiana, passed away Monday January 4, 2016 at Miller's Health and Rehab in LaPorte, IN. She was born July 16, 1950 in La Porte, Indiana, the daughter of LaVerne Carpenter and Agnes (Behner) Carpenter. Beverly enjoyed traveling, reading, and cooking. She was a wonderful mother and wife and will be missed by her family. Beverly was loved by everyone. On October 13, 1974, in LaPorte, IN, she married Thomas Tarnow who preceded her in death September 24, 2007. She is survived by her two daughters, Lauren Tarnow and Kelly Tarnow, both of New Orleans, LA; three sisters, Pat (Jim) Miller of Peoria, IL, Mary Jo Buckley of La Porte, IN, Marilyn (Les) Rhynard of Westville, IN; one brother, Warren (Betty) Carpenter of La Porte, IN. Beverly was preceded in death by her parents, and husband. Arrangements are being entrusted to Haverstock Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 602 Maple Ave., La Porte, IN where the family will receive friends Friday, January 8, 2016 from 3:00 pm - 7:00 pm. A life celebration will be held at Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc., Saturday January 9, 2016 at 10:00 am with Sara Meadows and John Debruzzi officiating. Interment will follow at the Pine Lake Cemetery, LaPorte, Indiana.
