Betty A. Relford July 27, 1944-March 25, 2017 Mrs. Betty A. Relford , 72, of Rolling Prairie, Indiana, passed away Saturday March 25, 2017 at her home. She was born July 27, 1944 in Michigan City, Indiana, the daughter of Kenneth Freyer, Sr. and Gertrude (Scholl) Freyer. She was very active in antique restoration and sales. She was owner and operator of Betty's Bears. She enjoyed traveling with her husband and collected and made teddy bears. On September 12, 1963, in Michigan City, IN, she married Herschel Relford who preceded in death August 13, 2016. She is survived by her two daughters, Shari A. (David) Pysher, Carolyn S. (Thomas) Monroe; four Grandchildren, Tommy Monroe, Taylor Monroe, Trent Monroe and Carly Monroe. Betty was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brother, Kenneth Freyer, Jr. and sister, Barbara Granacki. Arrangements are being entrusted to Haverstock Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 602 Maple Ave., La Porte, IN where the family will receive friends Tuesday, March 28, 2017, 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm. A life celebration will be held at Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc., Tuesday March 28, 2017 at 2:00 pm with Pastor JoEllyn Chadwick officiating.
