Betty Joe Colston April 30, 1936-March 4, 2015 Betty Colston, age 78, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, March 4, 2015. She is survived by her husband, Bobby Ray Colston , daughter, Shelley (Randall) Boone, grandchildren, Rachelle (Jordan) Vander Kolk, Michelle (Jonathan) Key, great-grandchildren, Carter, Elsie, Mallory, and Wyatt Vander Kolk and Allison and Robyn Key, nephew, who was like a son to her, Charles (Brenda) Bunch. Also surviving are her sister, Mary Cowgill and brother, Albert Thomas (Judy) Spradling, brother and sister-in-laws, Betty Elkins, Ann Dagley, Lonnie Bunch, Eddie Bunch, many friends, nieces and nephews. Betty was preceded in death by her parents, George and Bonnie Spradling, sister, Annie Miller, and brother Robert Spradling, father and mother-in-laws, Ray and Nancee Colston, Clyde and Mae Bunch, brother and sister-in-laws, Beverly Spradling, Jim Cowgill, Lloyd "Corky" Elkins, Robert and Norma Colston, Sidney and Jeanette Bunch, Emma Dean Bunch, Faye Cooper, Johnny Bunch, Boyd Bunch, Hoy and Violet Bunch. Betty's memory lives on through all who loved her. Her burial has taken place at Patton Cemetery. Betty's memorial service will be held Saturday, March 28, 2015 at Calvary Baptist Church, 1808 I Street, La Porte, IN. Please join her family for visitation 12:30- 2:00 pm (La Porte time) with a memorial service following with Pastor Curtis Southwood officiating.
