Betty Bealor

Betty Ann Bealor, 69, of La Porte, Indiana, died Friday February 26, 2010 at La Porte Hospital. She was born May 19, 1940 in LaPorte Co, Indiana, the daughter of Robert F. Bealor and Hildred G. Kingsbrough Bealor. Betty worked as an operating room technician for LaPorte Hospital; she also worked at Gerber's in Three Oaks, as a seamstress and at Heartland in Rolling Prairie as a machine operator. She was a member of the Jehovah Witness of Michigan City. Betty enjoyed gardening, sewing and spending time with her family. She is survived by her two sisters, Hilda M. Ken Freyer, Myrtle E. Diedrich, both of LaPorte, IN; two brothers, Richard Dean Bealor of LaPorte, IN and John B. Sharon Bealor of Rolling Prairie, IN. and eleven nieces and nephews. Betty was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Donald and Robert William Bealor. Arrangements are being handled by Haverstock Funeral Home, 602 Maple Ave., LaPorte, Ind. where the family will receive friends Saturday, March 6, 2010 from 9:00 am, until time of service. Services will be held at Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc., Saturday March 6, 2010 at 11:00 am, with Elder Richard Fritz officiating. Immediately following the service, burial of ashes will be held in the Salem Cemetery, LaPorte, Indiana. Memorial contributions may be made to the Donor's Choice.
