Bernice Hyatte

Mrs. Bernice E. Miller Hyatte, age 89, of La Porte, Ind., died 5:00 AM Sunday, February 17, 2008, at LaPorte Hospital in La Porte, Ind. She was born September 12, 1918 in LaPorte Co., Ind. to the late Henry Miller and the late Laura Bunton Miller. She was a homemaker and she liked spending time with her family. She was married to Leo Konya who preceded her in death. She remarried Earl Hyatte and he has also preceded in death. She is also survived by her Daughter-in-law, Mrs. Sherry Konya; Two grandchildren, Robert Konya, Mark Konya; Seven great-grandchildren; One Sister, Mrs. Betty Gribble of Kingsford Heights, Ind.; Two Brothers, Mr. Lawrence Miller of La Porte, Ind., and Mr. Melvin Ott of Texas. She was preceded in death by her Parents, Two Husbands; Son Robert Konya; Two Brothers, Edward Miller, Howard Miller, and Two Sisters, Margaret Able and Millie Horner. Arrangements are being handled by Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc., 602 Maple Ave., LaPorte, Ind., where the family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM Tuesday, February 19, 2008. Funeral service will be at Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc. at 2:00 PM Tuesday, February 19, 2008 , Bro. Ransom Ebersole officiating. Interment will be at Pine Lake Cemetery in La Porte, Ind.
