Mrs. Beatrice M. White, age 88, of La Porte, Ind., died 2:38 PM Tuesday, February 20, 2007, at Beverly LivingCenters-Fountainview in La Porte, Ind. She was born May 14, 1918 in Highland Twp. North Dakota to the late Ernest Wilcox and the late Lena Hang Wilcox. She has lived in the LaPorte area for 66 years coming from North Dakota. Mrs. White was a homemaker and was a member of First Christian Church. She was also a member of Golden Warriors at the church, she loved gardening, flowers, playing cards, and loved to cook. On May 29, 1937 in Cavalier County North Dakota she married Willis White who preceded in death August 17, 1988. She is survived by her Two Daughters, Mrs. Anita White Phillips of La Porte, Ind., Mrs. Carol Wiggins of Middlebury, Ind.; Five Sons, Mr. Gerald White of Riverside, Calif., Mr. Darcy Lou Ann White of Tekonsha, Mich., Mr. Richard White of Rolling Prairie, Ind., Mr. Larry Dorothy White of La Porte, Ind., Mr. Ronald Linda White of La Porte, Ind.; Eighteen grandchildren; and Eighteen great-grandchildren. Arrangements are being handled by Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc., 602 Maple Ave., LaPorte, Ind., where the family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM Thursday, February 22, and 2007and from 8:00 AM Friday until time of the service. Funeral service will be at Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc. at 10:30 AM Friday, February 23, 2007 , Bro. Ransom Ebersole officiating.
