Barbara Shaffer

Mrs. Barbara A. Shaffer, 66, of 1700 ?I? Street, LaPorte, Indiana passed away Thursday September 9, 2004. She had lived in the LaPorte area most of her life. Born May 27, 1938 in Chicago, Illinois to John J. and Rose Olszewski Meister, who preceded. She worked at Wendy?s restaurant as a food server for ten years. She also enjoyed reading. Surviving her in death are two daughters; Jacqueline Robert Lee, Petra Lonnie Couchman both of LaPorte, three sons; Kirk Stacy Shaffer, Brian Kathy Shaffer, Stephen Tami Shaffer all of LaPorte, step-Mother; Flaude Meister of Winamac, Indiana, one brother; John Lorretta Meister of LaPorte, thirteen grandchildren and four great- grandchildren. A graveside service will be held at Pine Lake Cemetery 2:00 p.m. Monday September 13, 2004. There will be no visitation.
