Barbara Hough

Mrs. Barbara Ann Hough, age 74, of LaPorte, Ind., died Friday, October 31, 2008, at Beverly LivingCenter -Fountainview in La Porte, Ind. She was born on November 14, 1933 in LaPorte, Indiana to the late John Francis Hewitt and the late Edith Mae Hewitt and had lived in the LaPorte area all of her life. Mrs. Hough was employed by Allis Chalmers and had worked at Foam Ex for 12 years. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. She loved to play bridge and pinochle. Barbara was excellent at knitting and crocheting. She was loved by all. She was married in 1961 in LaPorte, Ind. to Delbert Hough, Jr., who preceded February 4, 2004. She is survived by her; Two Daughters, Jean Randy Jarrett of La Porte, Ind., Patricia Michael Tankersly of Rolling Prairie, Ind.; Three Sisters, Virginia Kessler of Richmond, Ky., Doris Ivey of La Porte, Ind., Shirley Rameier of Mesa, Ariz.; One Brother, John Hewitt of LaPorte, Ind.; Four grandchildren, Jamie Hough of LaPorte, Ind., Dustin Collins of LaPorte, Ind., Ashley Collins of LaPorte, Ind., Keith Jarrett of LaPorte, Ind. and Two great-grandchildren, Rilee Lynn Collins of LaPorte, Ind., Peyton Mae Peeler of LaPorte, Ind. She is preceded by her Parents; Husband, Delbert Hough, Jr.; One grandchild, Travis Jarrett, Three Brothers and One Sister. Arrangements are being handled by Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc., 602 Maple Ave., LaPorte, Ind., where the family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM Monday, November 3, 2008 and from 9:00 AM, until time of service on Tuesday, November 4, 2008. Funeral service will be at Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc. at 11:00 AM Tuesday, November 4, 2008, Rev. Jack L. Ivey officiating. Cremation will take place, burial of ashes will be held at a later date.
