Audrey Raymond

Mrs. Audrey V. Raymond, age 91, of La Porte, Ind., died Monday, July 3, 2006, at 12:05 PM at Fountainview Terrace in LaPorte, Ind. She was born August 5, 1914 in Westville, Ind. to the late W.B. West and the late Rose Tickfer West. She was a life long resident of the LaPorte County area. Mrs. Raymond was a homemaker and was a member of First United Methodist Church. She was the Past President of District 3 American Legion Auxiliary-Unit 83, Past President of LaPorte County Salon #228-8 ET 40-Past Unit, District, & State President of Mother's of World War II, LaPorte Lionettes, and Women of the Moose #980. On April 20, 1935 she married Clarence E. Gene Raymond, who preceded in death July 13, 1999. She is survived by her Two Sons, Mr. Dennis Melanie Raymond of Plainfield, Ill., Mr. David Kathe Raymond of Deland, Fla.; Four grandchildren, Kevin Raymond, Kelly Danforth, Kim Clark, Kristin Raymond; and Seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband. Arrangements are being handled by Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc., 602 Maple Ave., LaPorte, Ind., where the family will receive friends from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM Friday, July 7, 2006. Funeral service will be at Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc. at 11:00 AM Saturday, July 8, 2006, Mr. David Raymond officiating. Interment will be at Patton Cemetery in LaPorte, Ind.
