Anna Janes

Anna L. Janes, age 65, of La Porte, Ind., died Monday, May 29, 2006, at 9:28 AM at LaPorte Hospital in La Porte, Ind. She has lived most of her life in the LaPorte area. She was born Nov. 10, 1940 in Lafayette, Ind. to late Cliffton Payne and the late Mary Belle Gruenoch Newlan. She retired in 2002 after 17 years at the K-mart Store and was a member of Apostolic Faith Tabernacle. She enjoyed crocheting, playing cards and being with her grandchildren. In 1961 in LaPorte, Ind. she married Bob Wolfenbarger who preceded in death in 1973. She is survived by her One Daughter, Cheryl Janes Cook of Rolling Prairie, Ind.; Two Sons, Mr. Larry Wolfenbargar of La Porte, Ind., Mr. Eric Penny Wolfenbargar of La Porte, Ind.; Two Sisters, Ivah Plank of La Porte, Ind., Rose Joe Bangheart of La Porte, Ind.; One Brother, Mr. Mike Diane Phillips of La Porte, Ind.; Four grandchildren; and Four great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her Parents, Husband, and One Sister, Cheryl Phillips. Arrangements are being handled by Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc., 602 Maple Ave., LaPorte, Ind. A Graveside service will be at Pine Lake Cemetery at 2:00 PM Wednesday, May 31, 2006, Rev. Marty Ethridge officiating. Interment will be at Pine Lake Cemetery in La Porte, Ind.
