Anna Harshman

Mrs. Anna A. Harshman, age 89, of La Porte, Ind., died 1:10 AM Thursday, February 1, 2007, at Beverly LivingCenters-LaPorte, Ind. She was born May 22, 1917 in Bloomington, Ind. to late Harley Wilber and the late Mary Hutcherson Wilber. Mrs. Harshman was a Homemaker and was a member of Calvary Temple, South Bend. She was a Sunday School Teacher at Calvary Temple in South Bend, Indiana, President of the Resident Council at Beverly LivingCenters-LaPorte; she loved to read, work on puzzles, word games and was a member of the Red Hat Club. On May 22, 1938 in Bloomington, Ind. she married Lebert W. Harshman who preceded in death October 14, 1951. She is survived by her Daughter, Mrs. Deanna Rev. Jerry Stegall of La Porte, Ind.; Six Sons, Mr. Jack Harshman of Rolling Prairie, Ind., Rev. Frank Harshman of Mishawaka, Ind., Mr. Donald Harshman of Traverse City, Mich., -Mr. Larry Faye Harshman of Nashville, Mich., Mr. James Paula Harshman of Drummond Island, Mich., Mr. Dan Linda Harshman of Story City, IA; and Twenty grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, One Sister, Gladys Brown; Two Brothers, Albert Wilber, Frank Wilber; Two Grandchildren Vicky Lynn Harshman, Timothy Harshman and One great grandchild Michelle Harshman. Arrangements are being handled by Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc., 602 Maple Ave., LaPorte, Ind., where the family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM Monday, February 5, 2007. Funeral service will be at Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc. at 3:00 PM Monday, February 5, 2007, Rev. Jerry Stegall officiating. Interment will be at Rolling Prairie Cemetery in Rolling Prairie, Ind.
