Anita Marie Brock, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully on June 7, 2024, at the Cornerstone Hospice Center in Clermont, FL. She was born on January 13, 1942, in Walkerton, IN.

Anita will always be remembered for her vibrant personality and kind spirit. She found joy in the simple things in life and touched hearts of all who knew her. Anita's passion for plants and flowers led her to be voted the best yard in La Porte, earning her the prestigious Terra Verde "Green Thumb Award." Her talent for home decorating shone through in every corner of her beautiful abode. A true patriot at heart, she celebrated the 4th of July with immense pride.

In her leisure time, Anita cherished moments spent on her son's pontoon boat on Pine Lake, finding solace and happiness surrounded by nature. She adored Yorkie dogs, Elvis Presley's music, and angelic figurines.

Anita was a loving wife to Gene Brock and a dear mother to William "Rick" Sharp Jr., Mark Allan (Sandy) Sharp, Brian David Sharp, and Renee Marie (Noel) Villanueva. She was a proud grandmother to 12 grandchildren and a doting great-grandmother to 8 great-grandchildren. Anita is reunited in heaven with her husband Gene, parents Henry and Sylvia Marie Lindsley, and sister Wilma Antoni.

Services to honor and celebrate Anita's life will be held at Haverstock Funeral Home Inc in La Porte, IN. A viewing will take place on June 21 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM followed by a funeral service at 2:00 PM with Mark Daniel officiating. The burial will be at Walkerton Woodlawn Cemetery in Walkerton at 3:00 PM.

Anita Marie Brock leaves behind a legacy of love and warmth that will continue to live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to have known her. May she rest in eternal peace.
