Andrew Hostetler

Mr. Andrew J. Hostetler , 68, of Michigan City, Indiana, died Saturday June 20, 2009 at his home. He was born June 28, 1940 in Walkerton, Indiana, the son of John Hostetler and Evelyn Lehker Hostetler. He lived in LaPorte Co. all of his life. Andrew was a farmer. He was a great hunter and trapper, he enjoyed walking and being in the country. He also enjoyed going antiquing. He is survived by his brother, William Rhonda Hostetler of Jacksonville, FL; two sisters, Margaret Gloy of Michigan City, IN, Lorretta Buell Miller of Abilene, TX. and ten nieces & nephews. Andrew was preceded in death by his; parents, grandparents, Gabriel & Maggie Bunton Hostetler, John and Effie Ramier Lehker and a brother-in-law Alvin Gloy. Arrangements are being handled by Haverstock Funeral Home, 602 Maple Ave., LaPorte, Ind. A graveside service will be held at 9:00 am, Saturday, June 27, 2009 at the Pine Lake Cemetery with Matt Peterson, officiating, interment will follow.
