Amanda "Mandie" M. Salisbury August 26, 1979-April 2, 2015 Mrs. Amanda "Mandie" Marie Salisbury, 35, of La Porte, Indiana, finished her brave battle with leukemia on Thursday, April 2, 2015 at IU Health University Hospital in Indianapolis. Mandie was born August 26, 1979 in La Porte, Indiana, to Laurie (Krueger) Ullery and Kevin Killingbeck. Mandie was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints who loved and valued most her family, friends and the Gospel. She was a great artist and baker and enjoyed playing the piano. She was a very kind and sweet-hearted person with a sparkling smile. Mandie was very positive, cheerful, and easy-going, and she simply loved life. On December 31, 1998, in Boise, ID at the Boise Idaho LDS Temple, Mandie was married and sealed to her surviving husband and sweetheart, Troy Salisbury. Mandie is also survived by her son, Ashton Salisbury, 15, and her twin daughters, Mollie and Maya Salisbury, 12; her mother, Laurie Ullery, her brother, Joe Killingbeck; two sisters, Melanie (Eric) Isakson, Jami (Jacob) Jackson; niece, Aubrey Isakson; three nephews, Trevor Isakson, Liam Jackson, Colby Jackson; many aunts, uncles and cousins. Arrangements are being entrusted to Haverstock Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 602 Maple Ave., LaPorte, IN where the family will receive friends Tuesday, April 7, 2015, from 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm. On Wednesday April 8, 2015, from 10:00 am until tim of the service at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 402 E. Coolspring Ave., Michigan City, IN. A life celebration will be held at the church Wednesday April 8, 2015 at 11:00 am with Bishop Jeff Keene officiating. Interment will follow at the Pine Lake Cemetery, LaPorte, Indiana.
