Alice Horn

Alice M. Horn November 8, 1934-August 24, 2018 Alice M. Horn, 83, of Michigan City, Indiana, passed away Friday, August 24, 2018 at her home in Michigan City, Indiana. She was born November 8, 1934 in La Porte, Indiana, the daughter of Leo Metts and Avis (Fulford) Metts. Alice worked in manufacturing for Gateway Industries. She enjoyed gambling, camping, traveling, and going on vacation with family. On June 28, 1952, in Beverly Shores, Indiana, she married Edsel "Buck" F. Horn who preceded her in death June 1, 2015. She is survived by her daughter, Kim Horn of Michigan City, IN; two sons, Leslie Horn of Michigan City, IN, Larry (Shirley) Horn of Michigan City, IN; five grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; sister, Beverly (Johnny) Parrett of Springville, IN. Alice was preceded in death by both her parents son, Terry Horn; two brothers, Sy Metts and Andrew Metts; three sisters, Jane Gunther, Roberta Fowler, Joan Seber. Arrangements are being entrusted to Haverstock Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 602 Maple Ave., La Porte, IN. A life celebration will be held at Hanna Cemetery, Monday, August 27, 2018 at 3:30 p.m. Interment will follow at the Hanna Cemetery, Hanna, Indiana.
