Adam Patrick Temple, 46, of New Carlisle, Indiana, passed away Saturday March 8, 2025 at his home.

He was born July 20, 1978 in South Bend, Indiana, the son of Patrick Arthur Temple and Roxann (Willis) Temple.

A lifelong resident of the area, Adam graduated from New Carlisle High School, class of 1997. He began his career as a machinist, working for companies like Master Built and Attco. He also followed and enjoyed his Dad's stock car racing career, learning mechanics and helping in the pits whenever he could. Adam loved motorcycles and the freedom of riding his Buell around the countryside. He had a creative soul and woodworking was his outlet for this. Adam had a servant's heart and was known for being a polite, well-mannered man, always opening doors for others or offering his help to his neighbors with tasks around their homes. He adored his family and was well loved by all who had the opportunity to meet him.

Adam is survived by his parents, Patrick and Roxann of New Carlisle, IN; two sisters, Amanda (Thomas Barczak) Temple of South Bend, IN, Andrea Kuntz of New Carlisle, IN; former brother-in-law Christopher Kuntz, New Carlisle, IN; two adopted siblings, Ben and Laney King of WA; nephew, Ethan (Rachel) Kuntz and their children, Kalli and Ryker of La Porte; nieces, Lillian and Samantha Kuntz of New Carlisle and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Adam was preceded in death by both sets of his grandparents.

Arrangements are being entrusted to Haverstock Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 602 Maple Ave., La Porte, IN. Cremation has been selected. A Celebration of Life for Adam will be held April 5 at 4:00 p.m.at the American Legion Post 297, 486 E Michigan St., New Carlisle, IN 46552.
