Ada Webb

Mrs. Ada L. Webb, 96, of 1900 Andrew Ave., LaPorte, and formerly of Union Mills, IN., died Wednesday December 1, 2004, at 7:00 a.m. at the LaPorte Hospital. She was born July 17, 1908, in New Waverly, IN. to Elmer and Nora Mae Heater Riggleman, and has lived in the LaPorte area most of her life. She retired in 1968 from American Home Foods after working for 4 years. She was a member of the Wesleyan Church of Kingsford Heights. On August 29, 1926 in Fort Wayne, IN. she married Roy William Webb Sr. who died May 15, 1981. Also preceded in death are his parents; one daughter, Betty June Ricks; one grandson; five sisters; and one brother. Surviving are two sons, Roy Dorothy Webb Jr. of Hanna, IN., Raymond Jeanette Webb of Kingsford Heights, IN.; nine grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; eighteen great great-grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Mary Castle of Palmetto, FL., Mrs. Sadie Miller of Rochester, IN., and Mrs. Betty Fern Singleton of Rochester. The funeral will be Friday at 2:00 p.m. at Haverstock Funeral Home, LaPorte, with Mr. Raymond Webb officiating. Friends may call Thursday from 4 to 8 p.m. and Friday noon until time of the service.
